Ages 5–8
Grammar of Grace core curriculum

  • Daily Memory Work
  • Daily Bible Reading
  • Light copywork; parents set the pace
  • Phonics instruction required; parents use method of their choice
  • All other subjects informal (complete instructions included)

Age 9 or 10
Christian Grammar School at Home:
Prep Year Later Knowledge Guide

  • Continue using Grammar of Grace core curriculum
  • About 1 ½ hours of additional light grammar school assignments daily
  • Daily work includes Bible, literature, & history reading; and copywork

Age 10 or 11
Christian Grammar School at Home:
1st Year Later Knowledge Guide

  • Continue using Grammar of Grace core curriculum
  • Weekly study of Christian Worldview & Greek phonics
  • Daily grammar school assignments, including:

–  Copywork, Reading Aloud, Dictation, & English grammar
–  Bible, literature, & history reading
–  Latin I
–  Arithmetic & Informal Science

Age 11 or 12
Christian Grammar School at Home:
2nd Year Later Knowledge Guide

  • Continue using Grammar of Grace core curriculum
  • Weekly study of Christian Worldview & advanced Greek alphabet
  • Daily grammar school assignments, including:

–  Copywork, Reading Aloud, Dictation, & English grammar
–  Bible, literature, & history reading
–  Latin II, first half
–  Arithmetic & Informal Science

Age 12 or 13
Christian Grammar School at Home:
3rd Year Later Knowledge Guide

  • Continue using Grammar of Grace core curriculum
  • Weekly study of Christian Worldview, Greek & Hebrew phonics
  • Daily grammar school assignments, including:

–  Copywork, Reading Aloud, Dictation, & English grammar
–  Bible, literature, & history reading
–  Latin II, second half
–  Pre-Algebra & Informal Science
